Voter Registration Information:
A resident who is a U.S. Citizen and is at least 17 years old (turning 18 before Election Day) may register to vote by completing a State of Connecticut Mail-In Voter Registration either in person at the Registrar of Voters Office, or Town Clerk’s Office, or by mail. If you submit the form by mail and you are registering for the first time in town, you should include identification as listed in #5 of the Registration Instructions. The completed form should be mailed to Registrar of Voters, P.O. Box 1028, Redding, CT 06875.
Voter Registration forms may be obtained at the offices of either the Registrar of Voters or the Town Clerk, both located in the Town Hall, or may be downloaded by clicking here.
For an election, your application must be received by a voter registration agency by the 14th day before an election (OR you may register in person with your Registrar of Voters or Town Clerk by the 7th day before an election.
Town Offices are open Monday-Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please note that the office is closed on Fridays.
