Redding Democrats are invited to attend their Town Committee’s annual Century Club party and fundraiser, set for Sunday, October 15, from 4-7pm. The fundraiser will be held at the home of Andrew and Mary Ann Carman, 164 Umpawaug Road, with parking on site.
Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will be in attendance this year, and has been a popular speaker at Redding events in the past.
Gourmet-style, classic American comfort food will be made fresh to order by Super Duper Weenie Catering. An open bar with beer, wine, and nonalcoholic drinks will be served. Garner Lester, with his band Catfish, will perform live.
Event Chair Margi Esten said, “We always look forward to our annual event, particularly now during this tumultuous year on the national front. We have a terrific local slate of candidates for everyone to meet, and that includes Julia Pemberton and Peg O’Donnell at the top of the ticket as our First and Second Selectman, and we often have some surprise guests. We hope to see many of our fellow Dems there in support of their party, and all of their candidates whom we are working hard to get elected on November 7th.”
