It was perfect weather for the Democratic Town Committee’s annual Century Club on Sunday. U.S. Congressman Jim Himes and State Senator Will Haskell enjoyed wood-fired pizza with guests, and spoke about the importance of electing Democrats for the municipal election in Redding November 5th.

REDDING — The Redding Board of Education unanimously adopted a $22.1 million budget Tuesday — a 4.69 percent increase over the current year. The Board of Finance will now review the school board’s spending plan. Read more here in the News-Times.
