Jeffrey Boxer

Jeff has resided in Redding with his wife Lauren since 2008. They have four children, Matthew, Lia, Jacob and Joshua who attend school in Redding. Previously, Jeff lived in Norwalk having grown up in Pound Ridge, NY and having attended Bedford Central Schools.

Jeff has volunteered for the Boys and Girls Club as a baseball coach for five years. Since 2015 he has been a volunteer EMT and Firefighter with the Redding Fire & EMS Company #1.

Jeff has followed in his parents footsteps as a lifelong Democrat.

Jeffrey Fligelman

Jeff has lived in Redding for over twenty years with his wife Kathryn and son Ben. Ben attended Redding public schools and is now a senior in college. Kathryn is a librarian at the Mark Twain Library.

Jeff led the nonpartisan Redding Civic League for four years, hosting forums with our elected leaders and superintendent and campaigning for the passage of our town budgets. He helped spearhead the effort to design and distribute “Hate Has No Home Here” signs around Redding and Easton in response to attacks on our teachers and administrators. Jeff is also a long-serving member of the Redding Democratic Town Committee and currently chairs the Elections Committee.

A screenwriter and novelist, Jeff serves on the Library’s Hermes Art Series board and chaired that board for two years. He is also the co-founder and co-owner of Gotham Writers’ Workshop, the largest writing school in the United States. Jeff received a Bachelor’s degree from Vassar College and a Master’s from Columbia University.

Cheryl Graziano

Cheryl is looking forward to and asks for Redding’s vote to continue her public service as Constable. She has served on the Region 9 Board of Education since 2017, selected by Redding voters in two contested elections. Positions on Region 9 include: Chair, Vice Chair, Curriculum committee chair among others. Other volunteer experience includes 14 years with community organizations in Connecticut and New Jersey. Cheryl is a financial executive currently working at a multinational company. She has nearly 30 years experience, with 20 years in the private sector and 10 with a non-profit.  She and her husband Peter have lived in Redding since 2011. Ron Derven

Ron Derven is a writer, editor, and lifelong Democrat who, together with his wife, has proudly called Redding home for the past three and a half years. He brings to the role of constable a long-standing commitment to public service, civic involvement, and clear communication.

A seasoned journalist, Ron has contributed to over 200 publications during his 50-year career.  He has written six books, including How to Cut Your Energy Bills and Vacation Homes. He is a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors and the Associated Business Writers of America.

Locally, Ron serves as a member of the Redding Democratic Town Committee and volunteers with The Mark Twain Library and the Redding Community Hiking Club, which explores the town’s natural beauty and open spaces on a monthly basis.

His approach to the role of constable is rooted in the belief that public service begins with being a reliable, present, and trustworthy neighbor. Ron is committed to fulfilling any responsibilities the role may call for with diligence, respect and integrity.
