Thought of running for a town position? Democrats may be elected to the following positions (numbers in parentheses denote # of Democrats that may be elected to each office).

  • Town Selectman (2)

  • Town Clerk (1)

  • Town Treasurer (1)

  • Tax Collector (1)

  • Board of Finance (2)

  • Board of Education (2)

  • Planning Commission (3)

  • Zoning Commission (2)

  • Zoning Board of Appeals (2)

  • Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate (2)

  • Constable (4)

  • Region 9 Board of Education (2)

 All you need is space for 5-10 neighbors and wi-fi access while making calls.
We will provide the lists and training.

Redding Democratic Town Committee Positions

Full Members:

  • Must be a registered Democrat 

  • Must live in Redding, CT 

  • Support the Democratic platform and values 

  • Must attend at least ⅓ of Town Committee Meetings

  • Join a subcommittee

  • Represent all Democrats in voting matters

    (Redding Democratic Town Committee meetings typically meet monthly on the third Thursday at 7:00 pm at Town Hall or via Zoom.

    The Redding Democratic Town Committee is limited to 40 Full Members elected by majority vote by caucus every two years. )

Volunteers:

Would you like to help out but not ready to commit to a formal position?

  • Help get Democrats elected
